JKLM studio is a husband and wife team- KL, an interior designer, & JM, an architect. Our love of good looking things that have a real purpose led us to our first design.

JKLM studio wanted to create based on the principles learned in design education- that there must be an idea behind what you do, simple ornamentation is never the answer, & it doesn’t matter how good it looks if it doesn’t function.

The ellen handbag isn’t dainty & demure- it's both beautiful & functional. Its like a great fitting pair of black pants that also has pockets. Part of our overall philosophy is that the products we design need to be useful.  All our bags can easily hold an 8.5" x 11" item.   A unisex bag is in the works.

JKLM studio has learned that a good idea is only the beginning. We plan to continue to develop unique & useful products & designs. Please check back to see our progress!
